AMY WILLIAMS, PT, DPT
CLINICAL DIRECTOR AND PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Amy graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She loves what she does: working as a physical therapist, meeting new people, and learning and expanding her skills on a daily basis. She believes in creating individualized treatment programs to meet the specific needs of each person based on their functional goals, utilizing therapeutic exercise, as well as manual therapy and muscle energy techniques.
Amy has experience treating various diagnoses and conditions, including:
- Neurological Disorders
- Sport related injuries
- Neck and Back pain
- Post-Surgical conditions
- Ankle and Foot injuries
Amy has a special interest in working with children of all ages and abilities and was lucky enough to have a clinical experience at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago during her graduate school career. She is excited to to expand the pediatric physical therapy program at Rehab Concepts.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors, running, hiking, biking, downhill skiing, or participating in water sports, including wake boarding. Amy and her husband are always busy planning their next outdoor adventure.
